Ski and snowboard hire Obergurgl
At 1930m, at the end of the Ötz valley and close to Italian border, the Obergurgl ski resort is the definition of a family resort. At the foot of the 110km of pistes, the village is calm at nights. However that doesn’t stop a good number of sports activities: telemarking, ski touring, curling, winter walks, ice skating, indoor swimming pools, mountaineering, bowling, indoor golf, horse riding… Snow is guaranteed during the whole skiing season thanks to the resort’s high altitude. To add to that, there is never any queue at the ski lifts thanks to the very large and long pistes. For some cultural après-ski, there is a point of view from the top of the Solden where you can see where the 5000 year old Similaun Ice Man was found in 1991.
